DECLARATION OF MALAYSIAN STANDARDS (MS)
In exercise of the power conferred in Section 15 of the Standards of Malaysia Act 1996 [Act 549], The Minister may approve and declare standards as listed in the following Schedule as Malaysian Standards, for the purpose of this Act.
No standards shall be declared to be a Malaysian Standard, and no Malaysian Standard shall be amended, revised or withdrawn unless the Minister is satisfied that the persons who may be affected by the declaration, amendment, revision or withdrawal have had an opportunity to consider it and to comment thereon through a mechanism as the Council may determine.
