The Department of Standards Malaysia (JSM) has entered into a license agreement with the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) for the usage of the Accredited Conformity Assessment Body (CAB) Combined ILAC MRA Mark, hereinafter "Combined ILAC MRA Mark".

Accredited CABs may use the Combined ILAC MRA Mark in order to demonstrate accreditation by JSM, to the scope of which JSM is a signatory to the ILAC Arrangement. The scope can be viewed athttps://ilac.org/signatory-detail/?id=44. The Combined ILAC MRA Mark shall be displayed as per the Figure 6 in the AP1.

The application of the Combined ILAC MRA Mark by the accredited CABs shall follow the document ILAC R7 - Rules for the Use of the ILAC MRA Mark which is publicly available from the ILAC website,https://ilac.org/publications-and-resources/ilac-rules-series/.

Accredited CABs intending to use the Combined ILAC MRA Mark shall: -

1. refer AP1 - Policy on the Use of Accreditation Symbol and Reference to Accreditation;
2. obtain approval by JSM;
3. agree to the rules for the use of the mark; and
4. only use it after written approval is received from JSM.

Accredited CABs shall complete and submit the following documents in its original copy as follows:

1. LA 1101-2 Checklist to Use the Combined ILAC MRA Mark;
2. example of the sample/artwork of all the items that will bear the Combined ILAC MRA Mark; and
3. submit to:

The Department of Standards Malaysia (JSM) has entered into a license agreement with the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) for the usage of the Accredited Certification Bodies (CB) Combined IAF MLA Mark, hereinafter "Combined IAF MLA Mark".

Accredited CB may use the Combined IAF MLA Mark in order to demonstrate accreditation by JSM, to the scope of which JSM is a signatory to the IAF Arrangement. The scope can be viewed at https://iaf.nu/en/member-details/?member_id=21. The Combined IAF MLA Mark shall be displayed as per the Figure 7 of the AP1.

The application of the Combined IAF MLA Mark by the accredited CB shall follow the document IAF ML 2 - General Principles on use of the IAF MLA Mark which is publicly available from the IAF website; https://iaf.nu/en/iaf-documents/?cat_id=6.

Accredited CB intending to use the Combined IAF MLA Mark shall: -

1. refer AP1 - Policy on the Use of Accreditation Symbol and Reference to Accreditation;
2. fill in the two (2) copies of the agreement. Please make sure the date of the agreement is blank;
3. the agreements will be signed by the top management representative of the CB and JSM Director General before the CB proceeds to duty stamp both agreements;
4. a copy of the stamped agreement will be kept by the CB and another copy of the agreement shall be returned to JSM for record purposes;
5. all cost incidentals to this agreement shall be borne by the CB;
6. agree to the rules for the use of the mark; and
7. only use it after written approval is received from JSM

Accredited CB shall complete and submit the following documents in its original copy as follows:

1. FM 1101-2 Checklist to Use the Combined IAF MLA Mark;
2. example of the sample/artwork of all the items that will bear the Combined IAF MLA Mark; and
3. submit to:
